I dedicated about 10 hours a week to teaching this semester. This is 2 hours a day, so hardly onerous. But I perceived it as massively time-consuming because the idea of teaching 4 courses per semester was so shocking.
In reality, it was all in my head. I felt overwhelmed and very busy because I trusted an illusion.
