Self-owned in Japan

I took Tanya and the boys to ride the train in Japan

What do you notice?

I notice that nobody except a rude American is sticking a camera into people’s faces. Of course, it’s too much to ask that a person Google the country he’s visiting to find out what behaviors are acceptable.

  1. My brother has been to Japan as both a Navy sailor and tourist and he knows not to stick a phone in peopleโ€™s faces, the Japanese are a very reserved, very polite people. I guess many Americans are so surprised at how quiet they are, that they have to make a spectacle of themselves since a lack of noise is alien to them. Too many Americans cannot deal with silence and calm, they need constant stimulation
