How embarrassing is it when people worship politicians?
Very embarrassing.
But hey, at least, Obama wasn’t a career criminal who ODed in Minnesota. Then the worship would have been downright unhinged.

This is embarrassing to me as an American, this is some serious Third World bullshit. The cult around Obama is terrible and embarrassing, it’s one thing to believe he did an okay job as president but another to think he’s some kind of messiah.
It’s disturbing how many Americans think the president is some kind of messiah who will fix everything and make everything better, instead of seeing them as a human leader who must work with Congress and the Supreme Court. This is not just a right or left wing thing but a failure of Americans who never learned social studies or civics anywhere, this sort of messianic nonsense about our leaders isn’t befitting of Americans but of Third World people

Reckon that means they’re all guilty of abuse of power/connections/graft, they all know it, and they all think there’s enough evidence of it to prosecute.

IDK if it really says anything about guilt. Trump threatened to go after so many people during the campaign, and I can see him doing it even if the actual evidence is weak because he wants to punish people. I haven’t seen anything that really convinces me that the Bidens are more guilty of insider dealing than any other federal politicians. (The evidence against Nancy Pelosi is some of the strongest I am aware of and I wonder if her refusal to retire is in some ways an attempt to avoid being investigated.)

Eh. Sounds more like projection to me. They went hard for DT in the courts, on some pretty skimpy charges, and they probably expect retaliation in kind.
