Breakfast

People asked what I eat now that I’m a diabetic. Here’s breakfast:

This is tvorog (no-salt farmer’s cheese), ryazhenka (baked kefir), and cinnamon.

  1. “breakfast”

I was going to ask if it tastes as good as it looks… but the metric ton of cinnamon on top kind of answers that.

Tvorog I know (as twaróg) but ryazhanka isn’t a thing here… what’s it like?

    1. No, it’s very good. I do the cinnamon because I heard that it lowers blood sugar.

Ryazhenka is very nice. It’s baked kefir, so it’s thicker and creamier.

  2. make sure you are using Ceylon cinnamon and not cassia cinnamon if you are going to be adding it to many foods/using as blood sugar support. Cassia cinnamon can affect liver function in high doses.

I like kefir but I have never heard of baked kefir. Looks like a delicious breakfast to me! I don’t think my body would handle it well, but I am lactose intolerant. I have to have smaller portions of dairy.

  3. As a diabetic i eat Cuban cigars after meals, drinking lots of water. Type II diabetes primarily a consequence of low bile production from the liver and gall bladder. Conscious breathing which focuses upon full usage of the diaphragm produces Chi. Increased oxygenated blood causes the mitochondria to produce more ATP/Chi. This results in less insulin resistance.

      1. Tobacco a bitter herb. I eat the tobacco by chewing it very fine with my teeth. Eating tobacco not only increases the function of the liver and gall bladder of bile. But it establishes a domino effect with the other internal organs.

You must drink a lot of water with tobacco, its an incredibly bitter herb. What’s horrible for the taste buds … great for the liver. The liver the king of the internal organs. Increase liver function and all the other internal organs likewise increase their efficiency.

Tobacco has to be respected. A fine Cuban cigar – expensive. Would you serve a fine stake on paper plates with plastic utensil cutlery? No way. Same with fine Cuban tobacco.

Much jabber concerning meditation. But like most political discussions on wordpress most of it ignorant empty jargon where people project their behavior insecurities one upon another.

Meditation, in point of fact: simply conscious breathing. Just that simple. The conscious employment of the diaphragm to both inhale and exhale. This requires conscious work. If your mind wonders while meditating, you simply do not do conscious breathing. Just that simple.

Meditation permits a person to increase Chi within the body. Conscious meditation increases lung function. More oxygen in the blood means that the mitochondria in the muscles can produce more ATP. Consequent to increased ATP production within the muscles of the body, less insulin resistance. You have got your diabetes under control.

      2. Smoking a very bad idea. Smoking cigars produces lots of tar. Clogging your lungs with tar, not a very good idea. Increasing your blood/oxygen efficiency through conscious breathing using the diaphragm, 180∘ opposed to filling your lungs with cigar tar.

  4. I have a breakfast 6 days of the week that looks similar. The base is barley or oat meslin (precooked) heated with non dairy milk, sour cherries, blueberries and walnuts – topped with pumpkin pie spices. This is my attempt to control cronic inflammation which I believe is the cause of my psoriasis; that and Inherited genes.
