Who’s Stupid?

It’s really charming when people who somehow manage not to notice a terrible war raging in Europe at this very moment run around calling others stupid.

They will get stronger, indeed. Words fail me to describe this incredible hubris.

  1. Technically that fellow whoever he is, is correct even if he is in fact wrong. What is the saying, (weak men make the bad times that make strong men.) Europe is currently being run by weak men who are making some pretty bad times. Assuming Europe manages to not become a new Caliphate in the next couple of decades it will likely see the rise of a new generation of strong men. Or at least a generation of men who will not be tolerant of the way things have been done.

I hate to use the game of thrones as an example, but there was such a perfect one that I couldn’t resist. Tywin Lannister’s father Lord Tytos Lannister was called the Laughing Lion. He was a very weak man who allowed his vassals to basically step all over him, ignore his law, orders, and commands, and which lead to a rebellion. Tywin grew up wrathful about the bad times being caused by his father’s weakness, and as soon as his father died and Tywin became the new Lord, he went about correcting things with an extremely bloody efficiency.

Granted this was Game of Thrones, but cultures world wide all have similar statements about history. It tends to cycle and inevitable you get weak men who’s rule is a disaster as long as they are alive or in charge. This generally is corrected by the next generation who want to fix things, and the leftists have been basically running Europe with an iron fist for the last 80 years. Inevitably when they finally collapse the backlash will be absolutely stunning to see. Unless they manage to become a Caliphate in which case the backlash will still be quite spectacular, but in an entirely different direction.
