I genuinely don’t understand why and how this is of public interest. I am also surprised and puzzled that a Canadian media launches such a non-story.
Elon Musk has a child? I don’t care. I care more about his politics. And the same goes for Carney, whom I dislike.
I don’t want my public life to be defined by the private life of my relatives.

This is one of the major issues of our time. Either the trans policies of the previous administration will be continued or not. If Carney personally participated in the trans cult, it tells is he is a believer and will impose it on the voters.
Parental guilt is one of the strongest emotions there are. Just to justify himself in his own eyes he’ll force many more children into this horror.

Maybe people don’t know what Tavistock Clinic is. Such terrible abuses were happening there, that the Brits closed it. The same Brits who are so trans-friendly they send police if you write “a woman is an adult human female.” And even for them it was too much. That’s the Frankenstein clinic where Carney shipped his own child.

There is a reason that Joanne Rowling (despite her strong left-wing beliefs, which she follows through, choosing to pay taxes etc) recognised the utter depravity of some of the trans ideology and warned against it.

I see your point. I am more optimistic than you are about this issue, however. I think that the trans policies that we have seen in the last decade will become less and less crazy. I mean, even Scandinavian countries are questioning gender transition hormonal treatment for minors.
