Q&A about Green Card Holders

I feel the deepest compassion for somebody so unable of learning. In the world we inhabit today, it must be very hard to be that way. My heart bleeds for you.

I’ll answer but it’s completely useless since you can’t allow any new information into your brain.

The only rights you have are the ones that your nation-state is willing to grant you. The nation-state of green card holders, or any other non-citizens, is that whose citizenship they hold. They can and should be deported whenever it pleases the host country. They are not citizens. They are here on sufferance. That sufferance can be withdrawn at will. To use a simple metaphor, you don’t have the right to remain in my house against my will. It doesn’t matter why I ask you to leave. It only matters that I do. I can be completely unreasonable and capricious in asking you to leave but that doesn’t matter. My house, my whims.

This being said, I am preoccupied by the aggressive removal of pro-Palestinian protesters. Not because they have “free speech rights” in a country that’s not their own. But because I don’t want the US to be subservient to Israel or any other foreign interest.

  1. “somebody so unable of learning”

It’s very sad…. they write the question (potentially interesting) in the stupidest possible way as if it’s some kind of gotcha that will render you helpless before their wisdom.

    1. You can also notice that the word “rights” was deleted from the original, leaving a weird expression “exercising free speech.” So there is some learning happening. Unfortunately, it’s of the primitive Pavlovian nature. She removed the word “rights” but has no idea why.

    1. A disappointing tweet, for sure. I’m still hoping they will happen. The people who came in during the last year of Biden through that accused app are very easy to locate. Nobody can argue that they put down roots or are crucial to the economy. This would not be hard at all. I’m hoping that a big sweeping action is being prepared. It’s the #1 promise of the campaign. It has to happen.

      1. Although I have to say that I’m getting tired of the internationalist focus of this immigration. Yesterday it was Houthis, now it’s Iran. I’m not America First but I’m also not America #65. I’d like to hear a bit more about domestic issues.

        1. Also, concerning Ukraine, the issue was successfully handed over to the Europeans. That’s great. But instead of letting the EU handle it, as they should, we are again in the middle of all that. Why? And in the middle of Israel’s concerns again. Also, why?

If even I of all people say “enough Ukraine”, it’s really got to be enough.
