What You Don’t Know About Me

I talked a woman out of an abortion once. I never met her. She was a blog reader. And I actually convinced her to have the baby. She sent me pictures. It’s a little girl.

I cried like a beluga the whole time I was corresponding with her. She had an appointment for the abortion. Everybody she knew was pressuring her to abort.

I’m really proud of this.

  1. Good for you Clarissa, good for the lady, good for the baby, good for humanity.

    I’m proud of you!

Life isn’t cheap, it is valuable.

  2. Aged 41, I was (totally unexpectedly) pregnant with twins (it must have been a very near immaculate conception). I have a hereditary blood disorder (never gave me much trouble) and I was (still am) short and fat and various doctors and others advised me to abort (if not both children, at least the “weakest” twin). I did not do it and everything went ahead. It was not easy, I worked until the eve of my planned C-section. I had them out three weeks before they were due, they were getting very large. They were both over 3kg. They are 29 now. One is a doctor, the other one a Management Consultant and part-time lecturer (Maths) at the University of Toulouse. The “weakest” twin is the Management Consultant. He is getting married to his girlfriend of 14 years in August.

  3. We should all us do something great for God at least once in our life.

And if you don’t believe in God, do it for humanity. It’s the same thing.
