The main issue for the Left is not a lack of paid influencers. It’s the terrible vacuity at the heart of its understanding of what a human being is.
They have rejected genetics. Once you say things like “assigned male or female at birth”, you have thrown this entire branch of science out of the window. They have no answer for why Eritrea is Eritrea and Sweden is Sweden. They have no explanation for why Eriteans in Sweden are still very much Eriteans. No explanation for why decades of fussing around with racial differences in all sorts of outcomes only made the gaps worse.
The movement has become intellectually impoverished to the point where it can process basic science (e.g. viral transmission). All it has is word games. We’ve spent days hearing an endless vapid discussion of what’s a genocide and what isn’t. People see a video of a stadium chanting “kill the farmer” and it disturbs them. You can’t dispel that disturbance by arguing over definitions. You need a clear explanation of why you think that’s acceptable when if there were a stadium full of whites chanting “kill the blacks”, you would not think that acceptable.

And they are completely unable to explain why ‘assigned male at birth’ is supposed to make sense while ‘assigned white at birth’ doesn’t… or why everybody was supposed to admire Caitlyn (aka Bruce) Jenner and hate Rachel Dolezal.
What’s even weirder is I remember (somewhere between 20-30 years ago) articles from left leaning media about California teens who were ‘choosing’ their ethnic and racial identity and how great that was.

I knew the sex of both my children long before birth. All it took was a simple blood test in the first trimester. Not even an ultrasound. All couples who have had children in the past decade know that this is possible, whether they decide to use the option or not. Even mentioning the “assigned at birth” part is evidence of such insane ignorance and disregard for science that even the idea that COVID spreads everywhere except a BLM rally pales in comparison.
The Left is pretending that we still live in the 19th century where people looked at the genitals of the baby to determine sex. But that doesn’t exist anymore. Even in a religious cult there’s at least an effort to provide an explanation of observable reality. You can’t simply avoid noticing obvious, observable things and expect everybody to buy into this insanity.

Yes, I believe it is. Ukrainians who are several generations removed from Holodomor have the same warped relationship to food even though nobody talked to us about Holodomor when we were growing up. Culture is genetic memory, it’s temperament, it’s habits learned in very early childhood. Ukrainians are temperamentally much more excitable svd gregarious than Russians, and it’s almost comical when you observe me and my husband together. You can’t erase culture and record different software in its place because culture is an emanation of the physical.
Eritrea is chaotic and Sweden isn’t because people are temperamentally different. Swedes come off as slow to me, and as very very slow to people from cultures with even more easily triggered nervous systems. It’s a waste of time, for example, to try to teach Americans and Hispanics in the same classroom. You can teach both groups very successfully but not in the same way.

Yes and no. Research shows that children learn parental and community values unconsciously, the way they learn language. It also shows that most people’s value systems (the heart of culture) are firmly in place by about age 10 and pretty much don’t change after that.
In the case of immigration, historically it’s not been the parents who adopt the new culture but their children (children actually learn most of their language from other children and not their family so there’s no reason to think they don’t get values from their too).
So, Clarissa’s daughter is linguistically and culturally American even though her parents are linguistically and culturally Soviet (more complex than that, of course but what they have in common is Soviet in origin).

We have now recovered DNA from ancient fossils. And not surprisingly, it appears that racial differences appear to have been created by differing admixtures of older “species” of humans. Now for example, you already have a rather intense dislike of Russians, just imagine some arsehole claiming that humans of another race consists of far more “primitive” descendants.

The left has to come up with more and more convoluted explanations of the world to convince others. “Someone making an OK sign with their fingers is a sign of white supremacy but here’s a 2000 word article about why the slogan KILL ALL WHITES is not what you think.”
“Don’t believe your lying eyes” cannot be a basis of any political movement and now that the mainstream media has become irrelevant, the convincing gets harder and harder every time. And to do that in the format of Joe Rogan show whose main attraction is free exchange of opinions, a lot of back and forth with no constraints, no topics off-limits, is next to impossible. To persuade people of the leftist worldview the messaging needs to be tightly controlled.
Hence the joke on the right that the left cannot meme. A meme requires a minimal amount of textual or visual information to make its point and be effective. The left, by contrast, tends to produce only turgid essays.
