I’m really entertained by how easily our day-long meeting on Thursday avoided any left-wing topic. In the past, 80% of all time during such meetings was dedicated to aggressive left-wing propaganda, equity trainings, racial insults, mockery of men, etc.

And now it’s like people’s brains were wiped and a new program was installed. It’s extraordinary how easy it turned out to achieve this.

All the race-baiting, BLMing, #MeTooting – for most people it was simply opportunism and faddishness. All the damage that they caused was because they picked up a stupid fad they don’t even care about.

    We are forbidden from putting pronouns in our email signatures. We were discussing it (with some non-university people there too) and I asked someone if she had pronouns in hers, and she said “no; I did once and it seemed pretentious to me, so I took them out.” I’ve never had pronouns and think they are only useful for contexts in which one’s name is gender ambiguous, or in contexts where international people are involved who might not know the gender of even common names in another language. Not as virtue signaling.

    Like many guys, I have been startled more than once by the strength of female ingroup behavior, even amongst women whose positions should indicate more than above average intelligence. And are there no functional men at your meetings?

        Yeah. One of the men brings his emotional comfort animal. Another can’t shut up about his boyfriends. And the rest are so terrified somebody will notice they are white men that they can’t concentrate on anything else.
