Tongue Twister

My grandmother Klara could twist her tongue in a tube from both sides. I’ve never seen anybody else do that and I can’t twist my tongue like that even a bit.

The only person I know who does it exactly like my grandmother Klara is my daughter Klara. Who never met her great-grandmother.

  1. I always thought everyone could do this. How odd. How about wiggling your ears? I know that only a handful of people I know could do that.

    1. I’m not sure we are talking about the same thing because I looked it up and it seems that only under 5% of people can do vertical double-side rolling.

      1. No that is what I was talking about. My whole family could do that as far as I can remember, most of my friends from what I can recall too. I’m not sure about that 5% of people. Possibly low survey count?

    1. Yes, the U shape is what most people can do. But I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about a genetically rare thing. An actual roll.

My whole point isn’t about tongues but about the strange roads if heritability.

        1. Same. I did a google search the first time, and it was showing that as well. Heck vertical double sided rolling sounds exactly like that.
