Groomed

How was she “groomed” if she was 22? Is there any cutoff age for being groomed? Are you still groomed at 40? 50?

  1. Well, in the world of perpetually infantilised victimologists, there really are no limits to who can qualify for the Victims’ Olympics, and definitely not age, provided, of course, that, in case you are a Caucasian male, you are at least gay if not queer.

Should you happen to be Caucasian and heterosexual, then the minimum requirement is that you are female or declare yourself to be such, in which case the sky is the limit (Lia Thomas comes to mind), unless your nearest competitor is a disabled lesbian of colour: that means you’re back to square one. Try again, you may be lucky next time.

Which is what a plethora of white, often Jewish, female, middle-class academics did when they concocted improbable but very colourful backgrounds as non-binary Latinas of mixed Puerto Rican and Central American ascendance, in the US, or even more improbable two-spirit First Nations origins, in Canada.

    1. I asked AI about how an adult can be groomed and it told me that grooming is being friendly to a person with an ulterior motive. I asked if sales pitches are instances of grooming and it started posting long screeds about how one can get radicalized by right-wingers.

  2. Technically, “grooming” is used in a wider variety of contexts than “grooming the minors”. For instance, it is also used in the context of all kinds of abusive relationships and how victims get sucked into them.

On the other hand, what possessed the journalists to bring somebody who is not a minor into a discussion whose main point is about trafficking minors in particular?.. From a purely technical standpoint this is diluting the message rather than enhancing it.

Which is why they do it.

They don’t want people capable of independent thought so they write about hunger with pictures of obese people who’ve never missed a meal.

It’s like scam emails that only an idiot could fall for… they supposedly purposefully put some of those in to screen out smarter people who’ll catch on to what’s going on and waste their time.

And it’s an exercise in ritual humiliation for those that see through it but won’t challenge it.

“It’s like scam emails that only an idiot could fall for… they supposedly purposefully put some of those in to screen out smarter people who’ll catch on to what’s going on and waste their time.”

I was speaking with my dad a few years back, joking about some of the scam emails I had seen, and he said something that has stuck with me.

The scammers don’t actually care if you realize their email is a scam. Your not the actual target. All they have to do is get it in front a handful of elderly folk who’s mental state is shaky enough and they are golden.

An officer I spoke to after an incident with a couple of scammers and my grandfather, told me that once people get into their late 60s, they start falling for scams more and more often. After watching GP’s viewpoint of strangers change from I’m polite and friendly-ish, but wary for traps to I’m polite and friendly and surely no one would possibly do such things. I frankly believe her.

The reason you see so many scam emails and phone calls is because it works and works well. The scammers make a lot of money off the elderly who’s mental state is no longer what it once was. And the occasional younger idiot.

      2. So you are saying that they are doing it for a purpose that is rather esoteric and convoluted compared to trying to reach the fraction of MAGA who are hopefully not willing to compromise on the topic of pedophilia for the sake of the Great Leader and his agenda?

And these journalists are not incompetent, but they are highly competent people working on other people’s subconscious for the purpose of sorting (for what subsequent purpose?) or humiliating them? Is feeling satisfaction of humiliating somebody (who may not have even noticed it) really worth it if readers decide you are an idiot and do not read you again, even if they do not openly confront you?

How do you see it and what about the Occam’s Razor?

I’m not a mind-reader so my ideas about the motives are assumptions or hypotheses and I’m always looking for counter-examples.

But the pattern is blindingly obvious.

Hunger is a burning issue! – illustrated with an obese person.

Minorities are being unjustly arrested! – said minority martyr is a repeat criminal who brutalizes women

Young girls are being groomed! – woman was 22 when it started

Trans athletes are being persecuted! – obvious man beats women to a pulp for olympic gold medal

I will repeat the old saw about woke in general: the issue is never the issue, the issue is always the revolution.

          1. People hear their whole lives that disrupting certainties and undermining everything given is the goal. So they do it. It’s like a reflex. They don’t even notice that they do it. I borrowed a textbook from a colleague and when I saw what he had underlined and placed question marks against it, that was very instructive. Every single thing was a statement on objective reality that the colleague found ideologically unacceptable. This is literally the only thing he (and me and everybody) was trained to do.

        2. I don’t think MAGAs are watching ITV News. Isn’t it British?

As for the journalists, I don’t think anybody does it purposefully in the sense of thinking it through and coming up with a plan. Rather, people are responding to the Zeitgeist. They can create reality with words. This feels powerful. It feels good. They chase the feeling, completely oblivious to the damage it causes.

As for MAGAs, I’m not sure you realize the extent of their anger against Trump. Candace Owens and Milo dressed in black and called their long talk “the MAGA funeral” because they feel so betrayed by Trump. Nick Fuentes, who is in the midst of a very rage-filled row with Candace and Milo, declared that it would have been better if Kamala won. These are people with cumulatively tens of millions of fans. If they are not MAGA, then who is? The two issues that are triggering them are the Epstein files and the bombing of Iran. Fuentes went on for 3 hours last night denouncing Trump for bombing Iran. He says himself that his popularity spiked because of his denunciations of Iran bombings.

This idea that MAGAs are indifferent to Epstein files and support US invasions is not grounded in reality.

Maybe there is enough dirt on democrat politicians to unmotivate Biden. Or maybe it is about unwillingness to admit to what extent US actions (under more than one president from both parties) were influenced by the blackmail by some foreign entities. About the US not willing to be seen as somebody’s puppet. I would assume both parties agree on the importance of these particular appearances…

As for the dirt on Democrats, it would be very easy to release the info selectively.

Sorry, this isn’t working. Unless there is an explanation, the whole theory collapses.

              3. In the scenarios where the “political bomb” is more or less universal (i.e. politicians from both parties are implicated), the explosion will be more damaging to those currently in power, because there is risk of losing said power. For instance, this particular Epstein bomb exploding during Trump’s presidency would be more damaging to Trump than to, let’s say, Bill Clinton, if the amount of evidence against them both were objectively equal. Bill Clinton may have a lot to lose but he cannot lose presidency any more.

          2. I mean your not wrong about folks not being happy with some of President Trumps more recent decisions.

I started supporting him back in… 2014 or 2015 when he first started running for the 2016 election. There were something like 16 to 32 Republicans on the ticket in the debate in …. Iowa I think it was, maybe South Carolina.

He was seen as the joke candidate at the time, but as soon as I heard him taking a hard line instead of more of the polite weak wristed nonsense we had with Mittens (Mitt Romney) I point at Trump and told my GP who was watching next to me, and said he is going to win this.

Oh I am fully aware he is human, he has made calls I am not please about in the past, but he was the best candidate we had by far. The rest of them were far to eager to compromise with evil, or unwilling to call the enemy out on their wickedness out of a sense of ….. You know I’m not sure what to call it. Decorum perhaps? A sense of people in such positions should be polite and not openly rude. Heck my dad didn’t want to vote from Trump in any election because he hated the fact that he was a braggart, rude, and obnoxious. It finally dawned on him during Biden’s term that the enemy hates us, and that being polite to them is worse than pointless, because it harms your support while doing nothing to restrain them.

So fast forward to recent days. I am not happy with the bombing of Iran. Congress as treasonous as they are, still must decided if the US goes to war or not, and bombing someone you are not at war with, even if you think they will do horrible things is an abomination and illegal.

I am not happy with the fact that President Trump appears to be acting as an attack dog for Netenyahu in particular and Israel in general. They are not America, and frankly we don’t need to be in the middle east at all. Let them sort it all out between themselves.

Then there are the Epstein Files. This. This even more than the prior two is extremely irritating. I can get over Hilary not being toss in jail. Sacrifices must be made when your country is on the brink of destruction, and make no mistake America is in dire straits at the moment and has been for the last few years.

I can even understand if it was set aside due to potential damage it would cause, or if the government was being blackmailed.

However the way it was bungled and they tried to sweep it under the rug like it wasn’t a big deal. No, no that is a problem. Oh I still believe they were and are being blackmailed, but I am very unhappy about the situation. When someone tries to blackmail you. You call their bluff. You push ahead. If damage is taken, so be it. Burn it all to the ground. Trump is the damned President of the United States. He should have gone on air live, and read off every single name and let it all burn. But he didn’t and that is a problem, because it allows the can to be kicked down the road a bit further, and we are nearly out of road at this point.

Lastly Fuentes, Candice, and Milo are full of it. If Kamula had won, the country would already be burning and blue helmets would be on US soil. Things aren’t great at the moment, but there have been patches and repairs done despite opposition from the enemy. If she had won, those trying to fix the country would have been tossed in jail and we would be looking like Britain is now.

Currently in Britain there is Three Tier Law System, technically a Four Tiered System. Foreign Invaders, Muslims, The Traitors, and lastly the English. Rape is allowed, murder is allowed, theft is allowed, arson is allowed for the first and second groups. The English who oppose it are arrested. The girls who speak out about their rapist serve longer prison terms than said rapists who if they are arrested at all serve mere months. Those who protest are visited at 2:00 in the morning by the police. And on and on and on.

So while I am not happy with a number of President Trumps recent actions, I am fully aware that he was and is currently our best bet to fix the country.

OK, so you are saying that the intended target audience is (oversimplifying) those who are already anti-Trump and the purpose of the exercise is to further train them to bypass logical inconsistencies? I do not know, I tend to believe that when the choice is between incompetence and conspiracy then 99% of the times it is incompetence.

In this particular case and similar cases – incompetence as in inability to put oneself into reader’s shoes variety…

      1. –Why does their incompetence never advance any causes that are not far left?

The answer to that is actually easy – they are simultaneously far left and incompetent, therefore the things they do without sufficient thinking tend to end up far left. I am not sure it is advancing the cause. If I were in charge of advancing the cause of the far left I’d do it differently.

As far as the photo of a poor obese woman goes, for example, I think it is as simple as journalist asking Google Images for an “image of a poor US woman”… Also, if you think of it, in the US context in particular there is no contradiction between being poor and being obese – the food is sh*t and it messes with one’s metabolism pretty badly. I gain weight every time I spend significant time in the US and I do not eat the cheapest food.

        1. I agree that poverty in the US and Mexico is now obese. But the changes to food stamp benefits that these are articles decry are precisely to take off junk food from the list of permitted foods. This is the standard leftist idea of “healthy at any size” and that doctors tell you to lose weight because they suffer from fat phobia. People have been trained to accept this lunacy as truth and they keep recreating it. Words make reality. They really believe it.

Yes, too much “food” of poor quality.

What these pictures of poor obese people don’t show is real hunger caused by a lack of food.

I remember the first time I was in Poland (mid 80s) going to a lake where people were swimming and freaking out about how…. undernourished everybody looked. In their street clothes it wasn’t so visible but in bathing suits…. you could could every vertebra (and notice how unhealthy people’s complexions were and how many had various types of… growths, possibly exacerbated by air pollution).

Technically nobody was starving there but you could tell they were getting very little in the way of excess calories. There were still ration cards then (which were no guarantee of actually finding the meager portions the commies entitled them to).

Want to convince me that hunger is a problem, show undernourished people and not badly nourished people.

            1. OTOH, we could use a campaign to address the bad nourishment, since so much of it is happening with the help of govt. subsidies, either directly through EBT, or indirectly through ag subsidies and industry-dictated dietary recommendations.

              1. “we could use a campaign to address the bad nourishment”

Terrible ‘nutrition’ is baked into the American food system. It takes determination to escape it. You can eat very well in the US without spending a fortune but it’s way too easy to fill up on pre-made slop that a sane person would be embarrassed to feed a pig…

I like horribly unhealthy slop too… once in a while but I don’t make a lifestyle of it.

There too many interests that are too strong to make helping people eat better viable (or part of a government program).

                Like

              2. Needn’t be a govt program, though it would be great if we could pressure gov to remove some of the barriers to access that make it unreasonably difficult to access fresh food. It’s so weird and wrong that it’s easier to buy real, good, fresh food in any number of “developing” countries, than here. And that’s down to perverse subsidies, and regulations written by and for industrial producers.

Rolling any of that back could make a tremendous difference.

The photo of the obese woman we are discussing also had a caption along the lines that she doesn’t know where her next meal is vomit-inducing on. There isn’t a person alive who sees the photo and doesn’t immediately think that she’ll be fine if she skips a few meals.
