Nobody is asking for my take, so I’ll inflict it on people of my own free will, although I know it will please no one.
I think that Trump isn’t releasing the Epstein files because there’s nothing to release. Nothing, that is, of what people expect.
The Trump campaign lied to people for years, spinning the story of a large pedo cabal that involved child rape at a mass scale. The plan was to inflame supporters, ride their rage to electoral victory, and then quietly move on from the topic. The voters refused to move on but there’s nothing to give them because it was all invented.
I’m sure Epstein was a mega sleazeball who did exactly what the woman in the piece I linked yesterday claimed. What kind of a pedo would put so much effort into chasing down adult women? If Epstein had access to infinity children to rape, why would he need to send out Maxwell to look for grown women? This makes no sense. Epstein organized parties where people came to engage in disordered sex acts. He himself participated. I’m sure a few of the girls brought there were underage, and Epstein should have absolutely gone to jail for that. And he did.
That’s why Biden didn’t release the Epstein files to bring down Trump. Because there’s only evidence there that Trump participated in these orgies with adult prostitutes. And that’s old news, nobody cares. That’s why Trump isn’t releasing them now because there’s zero evidence of a pedo cabal. He promised arrests of the pedo cabal for years, and there’s nobody to arrest because there’s no cabal.
This is what I believe Trump is guilty of. Creating a fantasy that inflamed intellectually limited people. This is the right’s version of structural racism. It’s the Republican BLM.
And honestly, this is the only theory that explains every aspect of the story. If there are others, I’d like to hear them but nobody made that case yet.

I’m not sure there’s _nothing_ but there’s not enough to make a coherent narrative that would satisfy those who have bought into the international cabal idea.
AFAIK no one has answered where Epstein got his first stake (most likely the money that disappeared after the death of Ghislaine Maxwell’s father).
I wouldn’t be surprised if Epswell thought they were vital intelligence agents for Israel or something but I doubt if there was that much going on there – the super-rich and political class is full of sex perverts…. stop the presses!!!
I don’t think Epswell were just about organizing illicit sex parties but I don’t think they really accomplished much more than that. They were bumbling procurers who maybe tried blackmail or maybe tried informing on their clients but there’s no Story that will satisfy the True Believers.

It seems farfetched for anybody without a discernible job or business, to have that much money. Perhaps that is really how it works, but the reason the theory is so entrenched is because… being able to afford a jetset lifestyle, multiple luxury houses, and a private island is an incomprehensible amount of money (for most of us) coming, apparently, out of nowhere.
A thorough financial audit of that situation could go a long way toward settling the rumors.

Yes, that’s what I mean. There’s nothing about Hillary Clinton taking baths in adrenochrome extracted from murdered babies. This is what people were promised and this is what they expect. And it’s not there. Whatever is will seem like terribly small potatoes to these people.

Epstein’s Wikipedia bio says the FBI had a list of “34 confirmed minors” who had evidence for their accusations.
I certainly think Epstein+Maxwell was an outfit adjacent to Israeli intelligence, though I don’t know the exact relationship, with at least two priority targets, politicians and scientists. I even think the NXIVM sex cult was an attempt to create a replacement.
As for Trump… Did they have kompromat on him? Did he know what they were up to? I don’t know. It is very interesting that Epstein’s most prominent accuser, Virginia Giuffre, originally worked at Mar-a-Lago, and that Trump’s break with Epstein is supposed to have come about because Epstein was poaching women from his resort. It suggests that Trump knew Epstein was up to something shady, and wanted to keep his own employees out of it, but who knows.
Anyway, Giuffre killed herself earlier this year, like Epstein, and like his French recruiter Jean-Luc Brunel, so the less said the better. 💀

I think it’s quite possible there was a pedo cabal, but why would they keep meticulous records of it? I definitely don’t think there was a mass blackmail operation going on. If any “Epstein files” ever existed they were shredded long ago.

And you have to believe that the US government access to “the files”while government figures are being coerced/blackmailed and decided to just sit on them…
I do believe Epstein was merced (and probably Guiffre too) and the fact that Maxwell is still alive makes me think she was the motor.
I’m sure some awful crimes were involved but the real tawdry story is just not going to satisfy those who’ve invested a lot into it.

The biggest idiocy was that Pam Bondi kept promising to release the files and saying she had them. Like a very small child who closes her eyes and believes that nobody can see her. I writhe in shame observing this.
At least, when Obama lied to us he was smart about it.
