A Dark Path

The Biden administration forced Twitter to shut down Alex Berenson’s account. Berenson is suing Biden over it because he has it all in writing. The evidence provided by hundreds of people that the Biden administration pressured every social media company to censor people for the mildest of views is overwhelming.

It’s very entertaining to see these pearl-clutching posts in 2025. The very fact that they managed not to know about any of this in 2020 but they know what’s happening now shows when we were on the dark path in question.

  1. Oh, but it’s only the *method* when it’s the other guys. When *their side* does it, it’s the bright shiny rainbow gumdrop path of happiness.

    Words over reality.

  2. Donald Trump has openly suggested that television networks and late-night shows which criticize him should potentially have their broadcasting licenses revoked. He’s as anti free speech as any of the worst Democrats. They’re all shit.

He _still_ doesn’t seem to get politics and most likely sees it as a different kind of business and his model of politics (and maybe the country) is a corporation.

You don’t go far in a corporation openly dissing the CEO in the company newsletter. That’s also why he’s drawn to autocrat/dictators…. he wishes he had the kind of ‘rule by decree’ power they do.

  3. Still pondering the contrast between people who’ve spent the last five years or more being relentlessly censored… and the people who’ve spent the same timespan relentlessly protecting themselves from any intel that doesn’t fit the grossly oversimplified story they’ve already been told. You don’t need censorship to keep them from knowing stuff: they do it to themselves, willingly.

    It’s so weird.
