Looking for a Church

Went on FB, which I rarely do, and wow, everybody is looking to join a church. Young, middle-aged, married, single.

“I’m covered in tattoos, is there a church that will accept me?”

“I’ve never been. Which church will be kind to a total newb?”

“My husband and I are in our forties, but we hope it’s not too late to start.”

“Looking for a church buddy to start going together because it’s scary to go alone.”

“My wife wants to start going to church. Anybody got any advice for how to get started?”

It’s by far the best experience I’ve ever had on FB.

  1. Isn’t it delightful!

I’ve jumped into a couple of those– just tell the usher you’ve never been there before. Any church you go to definitely already has tattooed people. Guaranteed.

It’s wonderful to see. I hope they stick around.

  2. My first attempt at this failed and naturally when I copied my comment to paste after I reloaded the page, only the last paragraph was actually copied.

Anyway I’ll sum up what I wrote. If anyone is searching for a church and can’t find a good one nearby. Here are two online churches that are amongst the best you will ever find.

YouTube – Pastor Robert Breaker, he also has a section on google called thecloudchurch.org

Google – Pastor JD Farag his website is called jdfarag.org (He is on YouTube, but all his sermons are cut in half due to YouTube’s censorship rules.)

Pastor Breaker is the best Preacher I have ever run across. He is an excellent teacher and does a great job and breaking things down. I highly recommend him even if you already have a church its worth it to listen to a few of his sermons.

Pastor JD Farag, he is also extremely good, and very passionate about the word too. He also covers a lot of topics that YouTube doesn’t like thus he always cuts his sermons off about halfway before getting to the parts that might get him banned.

As for anyone with tatts, who does drugs, alcohol, etc who thinks that the Lord doesn’t want them. Utter rubbish. The Lord desires all to come to repentance, and all means all of us.

Pastor JD Farag will tell you himself that when the Holy Spirit found him he was in a drug and alcohol induced haze. He was a mess and had been for years. The Holy Spirit pulled him out and turned him around. Now he is a pastor, and an excellent one at that.
