I was certain that the video of Trump on a stopped UN escalator was AI. It was impossible to believe that the fat, confused men around the president were Secret Service. They just stood there, looking lost and befuddled. I thought the video had been manufactured as a gag.
It’s impossible to understand how this degree of incompetence is possible. Did anybody even check in advance if the escalator was functional? Was a Secret Service agent stationed next to whoever operated it?

Considering his teleprompter also stopped working, I’ve heard a fair number of people thinking it was some petty person sabotaging him. Frankly I tend to agree with this view as well.
Mainly because yes things break and fail, but for the teleprompter to stop working only for him out of how many speakers and the escalator stop working only for him out of how many delegates?
It smells of deliberate action rather than random chance.

after seeing people ridiculing him on his speech I began to watch it. He got a few laughs for his escalator comment. He bragged a lot about making peace in seven wars so far. Some of what he says sounds pointless at first but it connects – basically he was saying the UN was worthless, he’s resolved more conflicts in 8 months than they have in decades. He went on about not being chosen to renovate the UN buildings way back when. Sounds like more bragging but the point was incompetence and waste that happened as a result and how that is typical. Didn’t have time to watch more. That was about 20 min of 60ish. Listening to him feels cringey sometimes but he ends up making good points.

He is definitely a showman, but he did nail the unelected UN elites on their mindless support of globalism, and the climate scam, plus their hidden massive funding of supposed “refugees” — that’s a start.
