Neoliberal Love currently stands at 87,000 words. I started writing a little under 2 years ago. Given that I wrote and published another full-length book and a bunch of articles in these 2 years—while being department Chair —is not bad at all.
I’m qualified to write about neoliberal love because I know its terrible power. It makes you capable of things that are so impossible they sound ridiculous. It’s a conflagration that burns every obstacle in its way.

This is the terrible power. What I described in this post. It’s addictive because it opens up inner resources one wouldn’t think are possible.

♥️♥️♥️ I really want to be done. But I’m also scared to be done because I’ve entered into a symbiotic love relationship with this book.

You need to come up with a plan for a new book so you can let this one go. Neoliberal love 2? Neoliberal hate? Only you know what it should be…

Do you have a publisher yet? I’m curious because I’m also in the last stages of my book project (incidentally, on love too, albeit in poetry). Quite enjoying writing the last chapter but categorically NOT looking forward to developing and sending out book proposals and talking to presses… You are great at this self-brand thing so it’ll be a breeze!

I never do proposals. To me, they are a waste of writing time. As soon as I’m done with the intro, I’ll send it and the contents page to a publisher. I’m hoping to do it next week, actually.
Best of luck on your love project!!
