Worried

This is the same woman from before who bragged that the guy filled her water bottle and heated her bagel:

I’m genuinely worried about her. I’ve recently watched a true crime documentary where the husband addressed his wife in the same subservient tone while she rode him like a tired old mare. And then he murdered her and the kids.

She needs to run far, far away from this maniac but it’s impossible to tell such women that this is not normal.

  1. “why are you getting your own water when I could go get it for you?”

Massive red flag. One subtext is: “Why are you doing something that doesn’t involve me?” Another is: “I have the right to control your intake of food and drink.”

Girl needs to get out ASAP….

    1. Women always think that controlling men are showing deep, special love in the first couple of years. This is very typical and ends badly.

That poor woman. But you can’t tell them anything. The response is always, “you are jealous that nobody loves you this much.”

      1. In replies she’s talking about having blocked many of the “haters” from the first post.

I wasn’t fully with you the last time you posted but you’ve fully sold me with this one. Odd and concerning behavior.

        1. She doesn’t ask herself what it costs him to be in this state of high alert even at night. This is a man with a very dangerous job who is already regularly stressed at work. The relationship isn’t new. It’s been at least a couple of years that he’s in this state with no respite. And she reacts like he’s a kitchen appliance with zero inner life.

I wonder why they are so isolated that nobody in their lives is warning then that they are bad for each other.
