In the meantime, Democrats:
Gavin Newsom just said what everyone knows but too many pretend not to hear:

“All this anti-woke stuff is just anti-Black. Period.”
He’s right. “Anti-woke” was never a philosophy. It was a rebrand. A marketing campaign to launder racism, roll back civil rights, and make bigotry… pic.twitter.com/Jme0rpkS5R
This is painful to watch.

LOL, c’mon Kid, exactly who is the real target — Blacks? Hispanics? Really? Who was, and is, the chief beneficiary of every “corrective” program established to deliberately undermine The Civil Rights Act? Sleazy Newsome is simply another immoral politician trying to “sneaky fucker” his way into the White House ;-D

That’s why I’m trying to remain positive about Trump. Because of it’s not Trump, it’s this. And I can’t take much more of this, to be honest.

Well, Kid, energy costs are dropping, employment for Americans is increasing, while illegal aliens numbers are dropping — which should result in lower social costs and help the housing shortage. But he has to cleanse Biden’s Auguean stables ;-D

Here’s hoping.
Now that the Somali daycare/med-taxi/homehealthaide fraud is public, perhaps that spigot can be shut off. It’s been fascinating to read– have spent some considerable time and effort in the last year researching, for ourselves and for others, potential places to live: job markets, cost of housing, crime rates, that sort of thing. One thing that boggled my mind over and over was all these places I had Xed off my list, because it was impossible to rent or buy there at any wage actually being offered (Boise, Charlotte, Austin, Green Bay, Athens…), and then I’d read something that mentioned the large community of (third world immigrant population) in… that same city. Like, OK, we can’t afford to live there as skilled labor, even in a crappy part of town. How are people with no degrees, no professional licenses, no job skills, and little English doing it?
Seems like part of the answer just landed. We already knew they were getting all kinds of “assistance” with housing, transport, food stamps, etc. Maybe outright fraud fills in the rest of the picture?
If so, shutting off that tap could make a massive and immediate difference to wage-class people all over the country.
If they do it. We’re talking Republican majority after all: there is no opportunity too great to just flush down the toilet.

So much that we think we know about the economy is completely fake. The explosion in home-aid personnel is completely fake, for example. It’s all fraud. And much of the money doesn’t stay in the economy. It’s all sent overseas.
Those of us who live honestly, pay taxes, and do the right things are marks in this widespread grift.

Yeah. Already accepted that the last five years’ explosion in “real estate investors” is mostly one kind of fraud or another.
This is… well. It’s disheartening to find, in *multiple* directions, that the reason we seem to be falling behind is because massive numbers of people are cheating. I don’t want that to be the case. How many levels are we getting screwed on?
We were raised with the standard American “Work hard, be honest, you’ll do fine” and its corollary: “Bad luck is really just laziness, gambling, and alcohol.” So it’s hard to even *look* because… admitting that it’s not just a temporary setback that we’ll overcome in a couple of months with pluck and determination feels like admitting to a gambling habit or something.
