Imagine that poor baby, condemned to having this creep as his only family. How can that be legal?

People with a technology-driven mindset equate data with information and information with knowledge. The tech business world is dominated by young people: as in maths, if you haven’t made a breakthrough by the age of 40 you are unlikely to achieve success later.
People who conflate information with knowledge also tend to have no idea of what wisdom is: it’s something quite outside the scope of their intellect, since everything is evaluated in terms of functionality and efficiency.
Abortion, same-sex marriage, surrogacy, transgenderism are all but the inevitable outcome of an intellectual view – which is now the world’s dominant ideology within and outwith academia – in which there is no God but one’s Ego and no place for selflessness, the basis of all morality.
This is where we are at in our brave new world of AI, Internet, Cloud computing and the rest of it, and it’s a very dangerous place for humanity.
