I’m not actually sure what Dugin’s (constructive) proposal *for* the West would be, at this point. Of course he is mostly about having an alliance against the West. The one time I remember him being most positive about the West was when Trump first got in, when for a while his line was, now we all fight the globalist swamp together, in America, in Europe, and in Russia itself.
I guess he sees Trump as an improvement on the Democrats, because the Democrats are supposed to be universalists, whereas Trump is notionally just about the self-interest of the West. According to this line of thought, the West can therefore clash with Russia, but it won’t seek to turn Russia into a copy of itself.
The very latest analysis of the West from Dugin that I noticed, was from remarks at that event attended by Candace Owens, where he said that the West now contains five forces: I think they were Trump/MAGA, globalists, Israel, UK, EU.
