In Texas, three very young girls, Kitty Mia Diaz (21), Amaya “Cookie” Diaz (19), and Kyandra Renee Faz (21), were arrested today for hacking to death in broad daylight another woman who is a mother of five. They were giggling and goofing off as the police were putting them under arrest. Here are the dippy, happy murderers:

The police say that the motive is unknown at the moment.
I’m guessing drugs were involved somehow.
But geez. Did they know the vic?

I put the ages in parenthesis next to each one. What is it with reading comprehension these days?

Two of the three weren’t even teens. https://clarissasblog.com/2026/05/23/manipulating-language/

I’m honestly not certain what it is that you’re trying to say. Is it some sort of a PC thing? Or do you believe that I am trying to diminish the horror of their crime by referring to them as young girls? So I’m not sure if this is a criticism from the left or from the right. But I turned 50 in April, and to me they’re children. Legally, of course, they’re adults and they should rot for this crime.
I have a friend who’s 76. She refers to me as a child. We both know I’m very middle-aged and clearly not a child, but she perceives me as such because she’s significantly older. I find that endearing. I don’t know why this is such a sticking point for you and why you seem more scandalized by my word usage than by the crime itself.

When I was a kid, I used to go with my 70ish grandparents to visit their older (90ish) cousins.
I remember these visits because the cousins always had cordial cherries and coconut cake 🙂
They referred to my grandparents (who were unbelievably ancient to me) as “the young folks.”

Thank you for understanding what I am talking about. To me, a woman is myself. Those 20-year-old twats are not women like I am a woman. To me, they are girls. However, I am sure that for an 8-year-old child, they are very adult women. I don’t mean anything ideological by it. I definitely don’t mean that their sentences should be reduced.
