The places I’m closest to politically:

And the ones furthest away:

I know very little about Rodésia and nothing whatsoever about the economy of Paraná, but I’m definitely very far away from the Paris commune, the anarchist Aragón, and the even more anarchist Daddy Makhno.

There are some grammatically weird statements in there. Like, “The mix of languages and cultures in the same territory is a sign of progress, not crisis.” but it does not define what languages and cultures, or how many. You could think that a very low to zero mix of languages and cultures in the same territory is a sign of progress, or that a very high one is a sign of progress, and give exactly the same answer.

I poked at it, and it says the “country” closest to me is… Florida 😀 I don’t know when we became a country, but I like the sound of it. It correctly pegged me as a Burkean though.

I ended up as an early modern Dutch Republic or Swiss Confederation sort of guy.

I have the vaguest idea of what those even are. The test definitely works because it gave me things that I know about.

It’s a really odd quiz and I think I misunderstood some of the questions because I’m not USian, but you’ll be thrilled to know I got an 82% match for Ukraine!

And as a Brit I am delighted that one of the least-close matches was to Jeremy Corbyn, a previous Leader of Her Majesty’s Opposition and a racist supporter of terrorists.

Ha!! I am thrilled! I’m also very happy you are far away from Corbyn who is a total shitstain.

    It says I’m a Paleoconservative (?).

The political figure I am closest to is Roger Scruton, which pleases me enormously, followed by G. K. Chesterton and Charlie Kirk, which is spot on. I’m furthest from the Soviet Union (!) and East Germany (DDR), and the country for me is… wait: Bavaria ?!?! Or else Medieval Iceland, or the Holy Roman Empire. This last I hold to be a great achievement so I guess the test is quite reliable, even though I was expecting Denmark or modern Iceland as my ideal country.

Ideologically I am furthest away from Techno-communism and anarchism, which is absolutely correct. I still got to figure why Paleoconservative and not plain conservative…

Scruton, Chesterton and Kirk are great company. I can totally see why the test would associate you with Scruton.
