Do you see this cute pink object I’m holding against the background of tomatoes? It’s a watermelon knife! I had no idea they even existed.
Has anybody used them? Do they work at all?
What I love about this country is that people never stop inventing stuff.

I never saw one before but I think it is wonderful and very useful. I am actually eating a lot of watermelon these days. And what I like, as much as the watermelon’s knife, is your flowery ring!. It is very cute.

I am a bit more cynical about this type of thing. My first reaction is that it’s just a gimmick since one can cut watermelon perfectly well with an ordinary knife.
It also doesn’t look very sharp, though I may be wrong about that. Did the packaging say anything about why this particular knife is superior to ordinary metal ones for the purpose of cutting watermelon?

The pink thing is a sheath for the knife blade.
Obviously nobody really needs this thing – especially at $12.99, but it’s still SO CUTE. 🙂 🙂
