One of the problems with elections in far-away places (like the USA) is that people say good things about their favoured candidates and bad things about the others and it is hard to evaluate their assertions if you don’t know the issues. Someone said that in the current US election the moral issues are absolutely clearcut, but that is of little use unless you know that the moral issues are.

    Fortunately for us who live far away, there are online quizzes that let you know how closely the candidates’ moral compass aligns with your own. It also lets you specify how important the various issues are to you.

    I said all the pro-life issues were very important to me, and you know which candidate they said I should vote for (if I were American)?

    Jill Stein.

    Jill who?

    I had to Google for her, as I’d never heard of her.
