Why is it that whenever the Russians make fools of themselves, Ukrainians have to prove they are even bigger idiots? Right after Putin made himself the butt of every joke with the homophobic speech he gave in Holland, Ukrainian pseudo-feminists showed that they are even stupider than he is:
The women, who appeared to be representing the feminist Ukrainian group Femen, were stripped to the waist and painted with the slogan “f*** dictator.”
I still can’t decide what pains me more, that these clowns call themselves Ukrainians or that they call themselves feminists. Even the jerkwad of Putin looked good by their side.
I will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of my emigration this summer, and I still can’t get over how great of a decision that was. I don’t have a place in a country where this idiocy passes for feminism.

If it makes you feel better, their antics have now completely alienated the rest of the feminist blogosphere. On my Facebook, I’ve seen people who were at first trumpeting them with glee months ago (“Topless women destroying a cross! Awesome!”) getting distressingly quiet and embarrassed at them now, and reblogging articles I post about what a group of pathetic dingbats they are.
Thing is, based on my own gut instinct, my understanding of feminism as being different from Male Gaze Clown College, and your words on what their first atrocious action really symbolized, I disliked them from the beginning! So I get to smile and say “Told you so” while the rest of my feminist pals retreat with their tails between their legs. Thank you!

Did you see their last pronouncements about Muslim women? I was cringing in vicarious shame. The depths of condescension, stupidity and insensitivity were stunning.
