Noble Calling

“My sister’s profession is very noble,” I say to N. “The noblest profession of all is that of a doctor, and my sister’s job comes right after that.”

“No,” N. responds. “Your sister’s profession is even nobler than that of a doctor.”

My sister is a job recruiter, in case you didn’t know.

  1. Well, as long as your sister makes enough to get by and pay the bills, then congratulations to her!

I forgot to tell you I got accepted to college a few days ago. My confirmation deposit is due by next Wednesday, May 1st!

Very happy and excited to be able to get out of my parent’s place in a few months. I know I started college later than the peers that I graduated with last year, but having the freedom of not being in any kind of debt is one that is often taken for granted.

    1. Wow, congratulations!

I started my BA in Hispanic Studies when I was 22 and older than everybody else in the classroom. Yet look how great it all worked out.

As for my sister, she is a VERY successful business owner.
