I just discovered that See’s is offering free shipping on all big orders for St. Valentine’s. Somebody is totally getting a 3-pound box of the best candy in the world as a Valentine from me. I always create my own selection because I don’t want to get those chewy candies that stick in your teeth for ever.
But See’s is definitely the best chocolate in the world. The person who introduced me to them is probably reading right now and smiling.

Whereas I question why they ever make fruit creams and don’t like the taste of rum or brandy in chocolate, but love me a nice bit of nougat… so that’s WHY. There just need to be more options to pick your own!

When I was younger, I wanted to be a See’s Candy lady as my career, because the idea of passing out chocolate samples was my idea of bringing the most happiness to the world, and I thought their white uniforms were the definition of classy.

Sees is awesome. Two years ago when I was in Bishkek visiting my wife and kids for the summer, my mother flew in for two weeks with a big box of the stuff. My Kyrgyz family thought the stuff was amazing.
