On Thursday, we were talking in class about the drug wars in Mexico and I told the students, “So tomorrow or the day after El Chapo Guzman (leader of the Sinaloa cartel) will be arrested. So what? What will that change?”
The day after, El Chapo Guzman was, indeed, arrested.

You know….. you could have said: “My dear friend, Cliff Arroyo will discover that he has inherited an apartment on Mallorca with very nice sea and beach views and easy commutng to Palm” and will receive a McArthur genius grant.”
But nnoooOOOOOOooooo…. you had to wish for the downfall of a murderous drug lord. I for one, think that was very selfish of you.
