New Series: Intellectual History

Jonathan Mayhew has a fascinating series of posts on his blog about his intellectual formation.

Here is Post 1. Post 2. Post 3. Post 4.

I’m now totally inspired to write my own intellectual history in a series of posts. This will be fun! I’m wordy, so I will have many posts in my series.

Read Jonathan’s posts in the meanwhile.

  1. Haven’t you already written “My Intellectual Journey, Part VI” ? If you have more to write about, it would’ve been interesting.

I am also interested in Spanish history and the new things from Tony Judt’s book.

      1. // Write about the books I read and how they shaped me.

Hope you will mention grandfather Lenin stories and the books of Soviet childhood, which I still got to read: “Dinka,” “Respublika ShKID,” etc. You said once there weren’t good teen lit in FSU, but I think they were great books there. Of course, not all.
