Anticipation of Snow

I love Fall because it brings the possibility of snow closer. I always wanted to be able to see the snow falling from my bed, and now I finally will. I will even be able to see it from my bathtub which will be hard – core.

Also, I still find it unbelievable that my new phone takes such phenomenal photos. They are almost better than the original.

  1. You’re lucky to live in a climate where there is snow. For me Fall is depressing if I start thinking about it, which I usually don’t anymore, because it reveals a cold, naked city, which will remain so until one or two weeks in February. It is then we here get to see snow (-10°C or less). But even then the fragile state that winter is in, makes me feel ‘insecure’, makes me think that my actions are contributing to the end of this short period.

      1. It was more human interest oriented than actually historical in the manner of presentation, so there was too much relationship emotion of a superficial sort in it.

  2. I feel about snow more or less how you feel about dogs (your newer milder stance).

Or rather, in person I can appreciate its aesthetic qualities for extremely short periods of time, but the thought of having to trudge around in it makes me want to run over things with a steamroller… This is probably due to having to learn how to walk in snow and on ice as an adult (resulting in many comic falls).

My favorite season is fall but just the beginning (it turns into winter jr pretty early). One of my favorite kinds of weather is clear and sunny with a little chill in the air.
