Kremlinbots

And now somebody is trying to break into the blog.

Stupid, annoying Kremlinbots.

        1. Thank you, this is great.

But just in case: if I start posting articles on how much I adore Putin, please know that the blog has been hacked. 🙂

      1. It’s the same backing software, so it should work, yes. Seriously though, Kremlin freakazoids or no Kremlin freakazoids, backing up all your important information is a really good idea. I’ve had a couple nasty hard drive failures and an email address crack where the cracker erased all my emails to cover up their tracks, and they all would have been more than a few minutes (email) or hours (hard drive) of bother had I not kept backups.

  1. This is unfortunately Situation Normal for the Internet.

You’re simply not seeing the vast volume of attacks because someone else runs the hosts that serve your blog space.

All that has happened is that you have finally someone’s attention.

I have my own sanatorium wing full of wingnuts who attack my servers, so no, you can’t give me yours. 🙂

BTW, most people who use blogging services forget that their server logs typically point back to their home computer, which is precisely why the Secret Squirrel Network uses VPN and proxy servers to hide our true locations …

Then again, we are Secret Squirrels … 🙂
