I don’t subscribe to the school of criticism that values authorial intention above all. The way a work of art impacts me is of a greater interest than what the author might have wanted. And this stone pleases me.

Daffodils are very pretty. They currently make London along with the plum trees a very nice place to be…. I’ve never been to Ukraine but in my mind is a nice place full of long sunflower fields…

Sorry, pressed the wrong key. Ukrainian food raises blood pressure a lot, and sunflower seeds are a natural way to lower it. Plus, we have food trauma because of the Holodomor, and sunflower seeds are an easy and healthy way to address oral anxieties. It’s like a healthy version of smoking.
