Putinoids make an attempt to smear Hillary Clinton in Putin ‘ s favorite whore, the NYTimes*.
This tells me Putin is terrified of Hillary winning and wants a Republican in the White House**.
Of course, neither party will ever do anything to help Ukraine and honor the obligations that the US undertook within the Budapest agreement. But the Republicans are promoting everything that constitutes Putin ‘ s ideology inside the US, and he wants to see a regime that is friendly to his ideas.
Plus, the Republicans are known for collapsing the US economy and massively strengthening Putin ‘ s regime as a result***, so what’s not to like?
Stay tuned and I will soon be able to tell you which Republican candidate is Putin ‘ s favorite.
* I could do a detailed analysis of the article to show why I think it’s Putin-pleasing, but what’s the point? If people who read the newspaper still don’t see which way it leans, I can’t help. I’m still trying to convince some folks that The Nation is Putinoid, even though it’s more obvious than Putin ‘ s botox.
** This is only one of many pieces of evidence that Putin is hysterically opposed to Clinton taking the White House.
*** During the global economic crisis of 2008-2009, Putin ‘ s regime experienced an enormous boost. The argument of “look how well we are doing compared with the hapless Americans” was reiterated several times a day, every day in Putinoid media.
People, be smart, this is a very important election. I understand it if you are not wildly enthusiastic about Hillary, but don’t you want to stick it to Putin?
“Republicans are known for collapsing the US economy and massively strengthening Putin’s regime as a result”
History disagrees with that statement. Republicans have done more to destroyed the Russian economy than any Democrat has ever done.
Obama and the democrats have allowed Putin to sell arms to whomever he wished…Syria, Iran, Venezuela, Libya…just to name a few.
Obama and the Democrats have given Putin the freedom to start wars and rebuild his internal government to levels not seen since the end of the 1980’s, and it wasn’t until Republicans won control of the House that Putin seemed to lose a lot of “freedom” and Obama lost a lot of his “power”.
Tell me, How much further has the Ukrainian invasion proceeded in the last year with a Republican led congress?
Furthermore, don’t forget, Obama was the one who told the Russian PM back in 2012 that he would, “have more power” after the last US election. If you notice, Republicans have basically called him out and haven’t allowed the wannabe dictator to pursue his dream of destroying America.
Therefore, Russian hands are tied because the Republicans are the only party that see past the mask that Putin is hiding behind. He’s a communist…and as my Ukrainian-born grandmother used to say (God rest her soul), “Once a communist, always a communist. Never trust them!”
Truth be told…if Hillary should happen to win the presidency, Putin knows that, just like Obama, she’s very much a puppet and he can pull her strings as much as he wants.
Well…that’s as long as there’s a democratic congress to turn a blind eye.

Yeah, Obama has been “real soft on Russia because of Ukraine. Sanctions have cut Russia’s GDP by @ 2% in the last year. Looks like another Right Wing Nut Job/Democrat Hater with Obama Derangement Syndrome. Turn off Faux Noise and learn how to think.

Nobody in Russia cares about this tiny drop in the GDP. Nobody will care even if the drop increases tenfold.
And I’m a great supporter of President Obama, by the way.

I’ll ignore your judgmental name calling, mainly because you’re just a child behind a computer and keyboard who doesn’t know anything about me, but that’s neither here nor there.
The thing I find amazing about people in general is that we’re all blind to the truth. The reason we’re blind to the truth is because we tend to support something or someone and then surround ourselves with others who believe or think the way we do. Everyone does it, so don’t get your panties in a bunch.
Furthermore, those sanctions you mentioned, they have only impacted Russia for a short time and were just a ploy to make the everyday citizen around the world believe that the West actually cared about what Putin was doing.
And sure, all the journalists and “news” agencies will report that the sanctions are working and causing Russia to fall into utter turmoil and financial collapse, but sadly it isn’t accurate.
The real truth about Russia’s economy doesn’t depend on what happened last year, as much as what happens THIS year and into future years.
My point here is that if you’re not already doing so, you need to start looking at the financial markets and seeing how the world’s investors are focusing on trading Russian securities because the prices are ripe for picking.
My prediction is this,
If investors continue to trading Russian securities, by this time next year the Russian economy with be thriving and the 2014 sanctions imposed will look like a slap on the wrist. If the world governments want to really hurt Russia, they need to shut down the Russian Stock market…but that will never happen because it would throw the world market into utter chaos.
And there’s nothing “faux” about that.

I agree completely that the sanctions are nothing but a slap on the wrist. They have been so minimal that their effect was almost nil. Besides, the sanctions are based on a complete misunderstanding of how Russia’s economy works.
