I knew before I read the article that it was a grown woman with a boy, it’s always this. It’s as though people believe all young boys are crazed horndogs desperate to have sex with a woman and that he is “lucky”, like this is Hot for Teacher in real life. Why isn’t this ugly slag and the idiot father in jail?

Stories like these break my heart. The poor child is betrayed not only by the system but by his own father. This is horrible.

Totally disgusting. A lot of teenage boys would like to have sex with an adult woman — so that excuses the crime? The law is supposed to protect minors from their lack of judgement, not enable it.
The judge is a total idiot, and so is the boy’s father. In many countries (including the U.S., unfortunately) the judicial system is by far the least accountable part of the government, with no real checks and balances on incompetent rulings.
