Useless Men

Because of the sole idiot who trolled yesterday’s poll, I will now not be able to know which presidential candidate most of my readers support. But you know what’s interesting? When we think about this sad, lonely fool who has nothing better to do with his life than game a completely insignificant poll, we all know it’s a “he”, don’t we? Women are always way too busy for this kind of thing.

And this is precisely what is making this electoral cycle so deranged. Useless, lonely men are taking revenge on the universe that made them feel redundant. Of course, there is not one of them on Hillary’s side, which is yet another reason to support her.

  1. That is sad. When I clicked on the poll, there were 5 votes — 4 for Hillary and 1 for Bernie. It could be that one of the frustrated conservatives acted out. Oh well.

Your comment about “feeling redundant” got my attention. That feeling is a luxury and a relic of another time. When our ancestors lived in caves, who had time for that? There was always something that needed doing. There still is.

However, one has to be prepared for change. What one does now may not be one’s job in the future. Big houses, trophy cars and summer homes were once part of the middle class lifestyle. They’re gone or going for most people, and will be gone for the remainder when the nest is empty again. Who cares? When you time is over, where you lived probably isn’t what people are going to remember about you. Nor your employer.

  2. Can this sort of rigging be prevented by wordpress now that you know who the culprit is and how he did it? If so, I wouldn’t mind voting in another presidential poll.

  3. I don’t think you got the bit about “Boaty McBoatface” because it was actually highly relevant to your poll problems …

    New York Times —
“Boaty McBoatface: What you get when you let the Internet decide”:

Next time, just rig the poll so it says that Emperor Palpatine was the front runner.
