Evil Israeli Academics

The first MLA in years that I’m attending (just for fun, I’m not speaking or anything) will be buggering about with crap resolutions on boycotting Israeli academics

Those evil Israeli academics have been destroying US higher ed for years, cutting funding, saddling public colleges with enormous and expensive cohorts of administrative stuff, eliminating tenure protections, destroying tenure-track jobs. Just in the state of Illinois, evil Israeli academics have been refusing to honor the state’s obligations to its public colleges for two years!

On the international arena, Israeli academics have been completely out of control, hacking US elections, devastating Syria, funding neo-Nazi parties in Europe, sabotaging the EU, and invading Ukraine.

They need to be boycotted immediately because who knows how much more evil they’ll do if the brave, heroic MLA doesn’t stop them.

  1. American Jewish and Israeli academics temporary working in America must feel themselves great in such environment. Would one’s chances of finding a job be negatively affected because of refusing to sign this resolution?

Btw, there were Israelis in Berlin who were hurt by the supposed terror attack:

“The Israeli consul in Berlin visited the the city morgues on with a photograph of the missing Israeli, in an attempt to identify her. The woman’s partner has been seriously injured and operated on, and remains in serious condition.”

    1. Hey, we’ll totally find out this year. ☺ Because I’ll be there and I plan to be abundantly clear on how I feel about this crap. And if that negatively affects, I’m fine with that.

Why do you say “supposed terror attack”? I heard on the news that ISIS claimed responsibility. Are Germans being cautious again?

      1. I wrote “supposed” since the attacker hasn’t been found yet:

” Prosecutors have released the 23-year-old they arrested after the attack due to a lack of evidence against him.”

In other news, because of our Arab MKs:

“A proposal set forth by public Security Minister Gilad Erdan prohibiting MKs from visiting security prisoners has been approved. The proposal comes amid suspicion that Joint List MK Basel Ghattas smuggled 12 cell phones to convicted Palestinian terrorists serving prison sentences during his visits.”

        Here what happened:

“During a search [of the prisoners’ cells] that was conducted after meetings took place between Ghattas and Palestinian security prisoners, 12 telephones were found in the possession of Walid Daka—one of the terrorists responsible for the kidnapping and murder of IDF soldier Moshe Tamam in 1984—and Basel Bazra along with small letters containing encrypted messages which aroused suspicion that Ghattas had smuggled the phones to the prisoners.

As part of his job, Ghattas was permitted to visit Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. According to intelligence information accumulated by the prison service, Ghattas exploited his role and the fact that his status as an MK meant that he was not required to undergo checks or searches when visiting Daka and Bazra.”

  2. The post’s title really suits those absurd news:

Several thousand haredi high-school girls gathered at the Jerusalem Arena on Tuesday to be told by leading rabbis […] that members of the haredi community “should be careful and protect themselves from all the blandishments of academia, including haredi women.

It emerged on Tuesday that the event organizers had been promised NIS 200,000 in funding by the Jerusalem Municipal Council.
