Sore Losers

These people won’t quit making total asses out of themselves until Trump is elected to his second term:

Call your representative, and politely ask them not to ratify the Electoral College results–it won’t stop Trump, but at least Congress will own his election as well. As importantly, it will make Republicans look even more ridiculous when they claim voter fraud.

People hate losers. As Tolstoy pointed out, the taint of losership is so threatening that people turn against a loser like he’s a mangy, wounded dog and tear him to pieces. Which is why walking around with a banner that says SORE LOSER is a horrible idea. There will be other elections in the future. The most recent election was lost, to a huge extent, because Democrats couldn’t build an appealing image. Maybe it’s finally time to start doing something about that.

By the way, I’m wondering if anybody in the Dem leadership is working on a slogan that could challenge the genius “Make America Great Again” or if they do nothing but pout.

  1. Eh.

I do agree that they should apply their energy elsewhere.

They are wasting time they should be using to anticipate and plan for likely bullshit. The House Republican Caucus tried to gut the OCE Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) on the very first day by placing it under jurisdiction of the House Ethics Committee (which the Republicans control because they control Congress). They had to back off after they were flooded with angry phone calls. They approved fines and penalties for representatives livestreaming from the House floor.

  2. Clinton lost because her campaign and supporters werent campaigning for her they were campaigning against Trump and called it campaigning for Clinton.

I remember before the election her supporters were talking a lot of shit about how Trump supporters were going to be crying foul when he lost. And low and behold they are now doing exactly that.

What scares me is that instead of learning not to trash people and call it a campaign they will decide to double down in 2018 and 2020 thinking if they jist a little more nasty they will get their way.

And it also doesnt help that they are blaming everything under the sun (except for that slight majorityof white women thay voted Trump) to keep from reflecting on their own actions and words.
