Yes, somebody hired this person for an actual job.
There can’t possibly be any shortage of tenure track positions if people of this intellectual caliber are employed.
Thank you so much, you group of brainless dicks, for making all academics look like total twats by association. Would it be so hard to keep the dumb statements about violence-enacting essays between yourselves and your psychiatrists?

I’m both amused and angry at the reaction. “Discursive transmisogynistic violence”–WTF? This is frequently how the typical SJW professor responds to ideas and language that s/he doesn’t like–it’s violence! Such a dumb reaction is truly offensive to people, especially trans individuals, who have suffered real, literal violence.
What the fuck is wrong with the word “transgenderism”? And I’m so glad they defined deadnaming for me–I’ve never heard of the term before.
Finally, the idea that you should no longer say either “male genitalia” or “female genitalia” seems anti-feminist to me–it has the effect of ignoring women and their issues in a sexist society.
