A DNA-testing company is promoting its product as a great Mother’s Day gift. Of course, what would really be a good is to market it as the perfect Father’s Day gift, which it kind of is.

I’m sure they’ve considered it. All geneticists I know are rather cynical about the rates of cheating going on in marriages and other long-term relationships. Children ordering these tests as a “perfect gift” for their father is bad press and probably a lawsuit waiting to happen.
