Did you, folks, see these funny FB videos of “advanced androids with artificial integrity” sold in lieu of inflatable sex dolls? Seeing them destroys all gender stereotypes once and for all. Go into any sex shop and what do women buy? Artificial penises. Nobody wants the penis to talk about love or talk at all while looking at you with huge soulful eyes. Nobody even wants it to come attached to a body, let alone to have speaking capacities Women’s fantasies are very, erm, instrumental and mechanistic. It could only occur to a man that a sex toy should say crap like, “I want to understand the meaning of love.” I mean, talk about mood killer, jeez.
Or to certain academic feminists who insist that it’s rape unless a man first says to his girlfriend, “Do I have your permission to kiss you, or to touch your arm?”
Talk about a mood killer, indeed!

I have seen academic feminists at sex shops, and they don’t make a line for inflatable dolls. 🙂

If they did, the A.I. in the dolls would say: “I didn’t hear you ask permission first — now calling my lawyer on speed dial…”

“…women’s fantasies are very instrumental and mechanistic …”
…and women are supposed to be the more emotionally sensitive gender.
Yet they seem to be the most clinical ones. Just which gender IS the most sensitive of the two? The most compassionate?
“Nobody wants the penis to talk about love, or talk at all …”
… NOW which gender is guilty of routinely “objectifying” the other?

It depends on the way each culture formulates its narratives of gender. Most people just accept these narratives as true even when their personal experience tells them otherwise.

Musical selection:
If masturbation is something is something you do for yourself, what woman wants to roleplay with an android? There’s a lot of ego management many heterosexual women do during sex. “Yes honey, you are the best and the biggest. It happens all the time.” fakes orgasm like Meg Ryan No thanks.

I was simply commenting on how focused on the robotic elements they (allegedly) seem to be (according to the report, which I’m sure is quite fabricated, as are most surveys).

You know? The last thing one wants to have is another conversation during the process. Bleh.
