There’s already been a weird undercurrent of free trade fanatics; Trump likes it, it must be bad. They’re a minority though; most people don’t give a shit either way. In Ohio, Brown and Ryan praised Trump. I think Dems and progressives here are probably supportive of this move, although I’m hearing that some people are concerned about how it will affect the auto industry, which is fair enough. I also get the argument that we only should’ve added a tariff for some countries. I still lean towards this being a good thing though.
