Russian Twitter bots tried to swing general election for Jeremy Corbyn

How not surprising. For the corrupt neoliberal oligarchy that uses Russia as its base of operations, Corbyn is a gift from heaven. This is all obvious to the point of boredom.
What I do find funny is how the same people outside the UK rant about the way Trump was helped out during the election by Russia while simultaneously supporting Corbyn.
A lot more is at stake right now, and in the next election, Russians will work to promote Corbyn much more actively. I’m curious to see how many brave anti-Trump resisters will help them do that.

Isn’t that just a case of people being process oriented (have opinions about processes and not results) vs outcome oriented (care more about who won than why or how).
I’m processed oriented and find I don’t really care about twitter bots and the like. Any system that can be disrupted by twitter bots is not long for this world anyway and the US and UK have interfered in too many elections to clutch their pearls about others wanting in on the fun….

People are, unfortunately, very incapable of making any logical connections, especially if logic stands in the way of received wisdoms and preconceived notions. They have memorized that Trump is bad while Corbyn is good and will reject any evidence that doesn’t fit this neat, if childish worldview.
I agree that Twitter bots are stupid but I’m stunned by how incapable people are of asking themselves what it means that “bad Trump” and “good Corbyn” come from the same source.
