Ugh. It’s such a sore point. We can’t anything in Southern Illinois. But even in Florida, good luck finding any seafood that isn’t extremely expensive and imported from Canada. I have no idea why that is.
And here everything is so fresh. And abundant.

There was actually an article on Salon.com this week that said you shouldn’t hesitate to eat raw fish, because parasitic infestations are “easy to treat” nowadays. So is leprosy — so maybe people should plan their next family vacation in a leper colony.
