I’m binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy, and there are often patients with cholecystitis. They are all 95 years old and most of them croak during surgery. Maybe this is not the right show for me to watch.
Why don’t they ever have anybody not completely ancient with this illness?
No, I’m younger than you and I’ve already had my gallbladder removed. And after it happened, I found out that one of my co-workers had to have her gallbladder removed in her 20’s! I think doctors are more likely to suspect gallbladder issues in people in their 40’s, but none of the reading I did during my issues suggested that gallbladder problems are reserved for the elderly.
