As an illustration of the preceding post’s point, please consider that I was the sort of person who spent 20 years obsessively telling everybody that I’m done with Ukraine and don’t care about it in the least.
Well, at least I’m aware that I’m not very self-aware.

I’ve never had Ukrainian identity, as opposed to Russian-speaking or/and FSU one, so had used the word “Ukraine” rarely till 2014.

When and how did you realize you aren’t done with Ukraine? Was it last year, or 2014, or some other time?

When Ukraine started becoming what I always wanted but never dared to hope it would. So in late 2013. I didn’t even believe it at first, thought it was a fluke.
