OK, I take back my skepticism over the Handmaid’s Tale fears.
Jokes aside, it’s easy to blame California or wokesters but we are all at fault. I’ve been saying for years that this is a culture where parental whims, no matter how bizarre and bad for the kids, are never criticized. We do not believe that parenting and its results are in any way connected. And if they aren’t, what’s the big deal of getting rid of moms to please a bunch of whiny gay dudes? It won’t have any effect because parenting never does.
This is only going to get worse until we find the courage to get rid of our taboo on holding parents accountable. And I say it as a parent myself.

Meaning that insurance can’t deny coverage for surrogacy and related medical care based on the couples’ actual infertility status (typically you need to have tried a certain number of fertility treatment cycles, which obviously gay men cannot do). It doesn’t guarantee a surrogate. However, it does increase the chance of financial coercion and emotional manipulation, which are already rampant when it comes to surrogates.
Unfortunately a lot of the states that don’t have laws outright banning surrogacy don’t really have decent protections for surrogate rights.

I couldn’t care less about surrogates’ rights. These are horrible people, absolute monsters. I care about the rights of the children. Children shouldn’t be an object of sale, period. This should all be outlawed.

Leaving that aside, though, these men aren’t infertile. Why is an untruth being promoted by the government?
Gayness is either a disease or it isn’t. So much effort was put into convincing everybody it isn’t (and rightfully so) only to turn around and called it a medical condition.

More seriously, there’s also the aspect that under this classification…. children are also non-men…. the demons of the elite really want to normalize pedophilia….
