I didn’t understand why Africans (who strongly support their colonial power of russia) would be in Ukraine in the first place and now I’m wondering if there was a plan to assassinate/take the UKR government hostage ‘for peace’….
Very suspicious especially since an SA official denied that there was an attack on Kyiv during their stay….

I doubt if there was any plan beyond wanting a photo op. The weapons can be explained because big men need a big entourage to show how important they are.
The SA president’s standard method is to let other people do the work and then take the credit.

It is possible they were trying to smuggle weapons into Russia, but that’s even more desperate than relying on North Korea and Iran.
