Tiny Steps

Remember what I said: tiny little steps that are easy to ignore.

The Coup in Niger

Well, given that the mobs were waiving Russian flags during the coup, that was kind of obvious.

Latin Americans should be really upset that even Russia chose Africans over them. Mexico’s López Obrador is toadying to Russians like crazy but they are pretending he doesn’t exist.

But wait, there’s more

I’m posting this in small increments to give people a chance to process.

In what concerns that form where you have 9 different categories, I have to fill out 3 of them at once. One records my work as department Chair, another as a professor, and the third the work I do in course development.

So I will now have to remember what I put in those 3 forms with 9 categories in each and tailor the daily timesheets to coincide with the original 3 forms.

Fun!

More on Timesheets

Here’s an added wrinkle to the story about the timesheets that are now required of all professors.

We already report how many hours a week we work. It’s done 3 times a year, and it’s broken up by activity. There are 8 or 9 categories of work and you put in hours for each. So now you have to remember exactly what you put in that form and tailor the new daily reporting so that it corresponds to the other reporting. Got it?

Me neither.

It’s all nutso-boom-boom of the highest order.
