This is excellent news. Little by little, we are gaining ground on this important issue. I now carry on my phone a photo of a girl with a sewn-on fake penis. I show it to people and gain immediate converts without having to say a word.

    1. True. But at least the countdown started. We were going in the opposite direction until very recently, and that was simply because everybody wanted to be kind to trans people and did it in sweet but deeply ignorant ways. Myself included, of course.

    2. I’m really pleased and have to give a lot of the credit to Joanne Rowling.

      I generally think her politics are wrong – she strongly supports the Labour Party and I’d prefer not to have any more government than absolutely necessary, but she has the courage of her convictions and has chosen to continue to pay UK (probably Scottish) tax when she could have massively reduced the cost by moving elsewhere.

      And on the need to protect women-only spaces then I can only applaud and support her active work.

      1. That’s the tell. Like, nobody cared about drag shows or trans shit until they made it their life’s mission to expose children to this stuff. And then you have the “abolish the family’ and the cynical ‘childrens emancipation’ discourse led once again by the left. This has no explanation other than they want to make it easy for predators to target children by casting the family as an oppressive social structure, thus depriving children of any sense of safety and well-being.

        1. It’s not *just* the pedo contingent trying to go mainstream– they’re certainly involved and why they aren’t immediately discrediting to anyone associated with them is a mystery to me.

          But no, it’s also the fanatical liberal sorts, who can see clearly that the only people having kids these days are their ideological opposition. If they want to win the whole pot, they need access to everyone *else’s* kids– through schools, through entertainment (the DEI takeover of Disney is textbook here), etc. 

          Having your own children is a commitment to the future. If you opt out in order to live in the eternal me-centered now (a commendable ethical choice, as this is a poor environment for raising children), or if you have children but effectively neuter them so you’ll have no grandchildren, your only material interest is in the present, and you have no legitimate claim to shaping the future. That belongs rightfully to those who’ll get to live in it.

      1. What’s wrong with the LGBTQ movement that it doesn’t realize that the LGBQ identities have nothing in common with the T? Trans people hate women and homosexuals with a passion. According to them, being attracted to someone of your sex means you’re born in the wrong body. Talk about erasure!

            When I first started following gender critical twitter there already lots of lesbians and gay men on board. I think lesbians were first to notice something was wrong (cotton ceiling) out of necessity since AGP’s could be a real physical threat to women. For gay men trans ‘men’ were more or a minor annoyance than a threat.

            Then some began realizing that they would have been likely duped by the rhetoric had it been around when they were young….
